Manasquan Inlet Impacted by Nor'easter

The recent nor'easter has made at least some of the Manasquan Inlet more shallow than usual. Scraping the bottom has been reported by boaters as this linked article from NJ.com indicates.

The Turkey Trot

An online Asbury Park Press article 2,300 runners "trot" in 27th Manasquan race, reported the 27th annual Manasquan Turkey Trot race which took place on Saturday. About 2,350 runners participated. As you might suspect by the event's name, it takes place every year around Thanksgiving. Kyle Price, a 21 year old Ramapo College student and resident of Milltown, came in first with a time of 26 minutes, 23 seconds, over the five mile course. Price runs for the Ramapo College cross-country team.

Activities for Children Having a Sibling with a Disability

Starting Thursday, the 19th of November and continuing on Thursdays of each week, there will be two hour sessions from 4 to 6 PM, where games and activities are offered to children, having a sibling with a disability. The children must be in the 8-14 age group. The goal is to teach the children new skills and improve their relationship with their sibling. It takes place at the Brielle Library.

The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe at Algonquin Arts

A musical, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, is performed at the Algonquin Arts Theater, 173 Main Street, Manasquan, New Jersey 08736, on Monday, November 2nd. The story is based on the C.S. Lewis tale telling of four children who are in the land of Narnia and must defeat a witch and restore Lion King Aslan to the throne. All seats cost $8.50.
