The Manasquan Festival

The Manasquan Festival takes place on Saturday, September 26th at Vorhees Plaza in Manasquan. It is an outdoor event so if it is rained out the make-up date is Sunday, September 27th. The festival runs from 10 AM to 5PM.

A Union Landing Historical Society Dinner

There will be a dinner at the Manasquan River Golf Club, 843 Riverview Drive, Brielle, NJ on Friday, September 25th at 6:00 PM. It is hosted by the Union Landing Historical Society and celebrates the release of their publication Brielle Saltworks to Suburb. The cost is $30.00 per person

Harpoon Willy's

Harpoon Willy's, 2655 River Rd., Manasquan NJ 08736, (located off Route 70 westbound side) is one of the notable restaurants in the area. The building it operates within was built in 1792 and is one of the oldest in this part of New Jersey. Its scenic location near the Manasquan River is one of its charms as is a large stone fireplace fitting for the colder months. Seafood, shellfish and a good time are within reach for local residents and visitors to this part of the Jersey Shore.

New Jersey Monthly ranked Manasquan 22 in the top 100 best municipalities in which to live in New Jersey for 2008. Median property taxes in 2007 were listed as $6,586.

Saffire- The Uppity Blues Women at Algonquin Arts

Brielle Day Booksale

The Brielle Public Library is sponsoring a book sale which will be held on
September 10th, 11th and 12th. It will take place in the library meeting room and will make available many books described as "rare and unique." Included are books by best selling authors. Proceeds will help support the library while patrons are given the opportunity to add some quality books to their collection.

A Concert and Fireworks at the Beach in Manasquan

Tonight at the main beach in Manasquan the Manasquan Tourism Commission is presenting a concert put on by Moonlighting. It will commence at 7:30 PM. Fireworks will follow.
